I am V. Martinez, my husband and I M. Martinez is also a patient of Dr Griffith. I met Dr Griffith about 3 years ago. I was having a rapid heartbeat, feeling as if it was pounding out of my chest. After 2 visits to the ER I was told it was stress. I knew it wasn’t. Once at night a one on weekend as my family physician was closed. I contacted my physician the next day and was told about Dr Kendall Griffith. I called and he saw me right away. Sent me to get a halter monitor. As soon as I turned it in he asked me to come in for results. I was immediately diagnosed with atrial fibrillation, better known as AFIB. I was put on medication.

I went through several test and later Dr. Griffith decided I was a good candidate for a device called a reveal link by Medtronic. It monitors my heart beat 24/7 and if I feel I’m having an episode I press a button and it is recorded. I have it checked every 3 months. I am doing great. Mario had open heart bypass 16 years ago. Dr. Griffith monitors him and does whatever test are necessary. He is doing great also. We can describe Dr. Griffith in 3 words! 1 Brilliant-Hands and Mind. 2 Compassionate - taking care of his patients as he would family. 3 Caring- beyond the scope of medicine.

We both had a medical laboratory for 50 years. Worked with physicians from every specialty. Knew them professionally and privately. None compare to Dr. Kendall Griffith.

This doctors office saved my life. I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in2018. Last summer I was in and out of the hospital with swelling and various other symptoms. Dr. Griffith and/or NP Bacot would visit me everyday. When the medicine I needed was extremely expensive they helped me submit the proper paperwork to the manufacturer and I received a full year supply of multiple medicines for no cost. My condition didn’t get any better and I needed a defibrillator implanted. I had no way to pay for my surgery and again they contacted the manufacturer (for the defibrillator) and got them to donate my device. Last but not least Ms. Jennifer in the billing department went above and beyond to help me whether it was answering my questions or contacting other doctor's offices, sending faxes/emails she does it all. Overall I love this office because when I was losing hope they never gave up.

For most people selecting a heart doctor is the furthest thought from your mind. Usually a crisis of the heart does that for you. In our case it was a priority due to moving to Statesboro and the fact my wife had a history of heart issues. Atrial fib, Atrial flutter, Congestive heart failure, Heart pacemaker.

Being new to the Statesboro area, our first priority for medical care was a reputable primary care doctor. We used online resources as well as asking people we met in the area for reference. We were extremely pleased with the service of Dr. Luke Klauder as our primary care and asked if he could recommend a local heart doctor. He recommended Dr. Griffith.

We didn’t know what to initially expect with Dr. Griffith simply because my wife's past heart specialists were found out of emergency not selective means and we knew any heart doctor was not obliged to accept her as a patient. What a blessing we were given.

Good grief what a professional, personable, caring, knowledgeable and sincere man. From day one we formulated more than just a patient/doctor relationship, but a true friend/patient relationship. Numerous times in the last four years her heart episodes proved this over and over and her treatment was always immediate, appropriate and in several instances answered with personal after hour follow-up, from not only Doctor Griffith but also Nurse practitioners, whom I might add are extremely capable providers and mirror his character of care.

Just the fact that my wife had all the trust and faith Dr Grifith removed fear from her existing condition which in turn removed so much worry and anxiety from our family.

I could go on and on about this man’s practice and staff, even the accolades he has accomplished, but suffice it to say, in my family he has “our hearts”.

We first saw Dr Kendall griffith in June of 2019 with concerns over a very low pulse rate my husband was experiencing. The speed at which his condition was diagnosed and pacemaker placed was remarkable. At present both our son and my brother are in his very capable care. Dr. Griffith and his staff have always been very caring, attentive, compassionate, courteous and professional. In a time when patients fears are often overlooked it is comforting to find a physician and his team who have the ability and desire to both calm and meet the medical needs of their patients.
